From 2012 to 2020, he was a lobbyist and legislative affairs manager for the Association of Oregon Counties, lobbying on public safety, emergency management, and telecommunications issues. He transitioned to contract lobbying in 2020 and was with the Public Affairs Counsel for two years working with a team to represent 50 clients ranging from national corporations to local associations. In December 2022, Patrick started Sieng Enterprises as an independent lobby firm. Patrick previously served as a reserve police officer/deputy sheriff for 13 years - 10 years with the Portland Police Bureau (including 2 concurrent years with the Marion County Sheriff's Office), and 3 years with the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office. Patrick has been a licensed real estate principal broker for 10 years and also became licensed as a mortgage loan originator in 2022. He owns Capitol Real Estate, a boutique real estate company in Salem. He has two children - Ethan and Avery, enjoys Portland Trailblazers basketball games, taking flight lessons to become a private pilot, and attends St. Edward Catholic Church in Keizer.
